Chris Broderick of Megadeth is a very versatile player, like many of his predecessors in Megadeth. Chris`s skills go far beyond metal, but mind-bending shred solos are his forte. A life-long fan and player of Jackson Guitars, Chris has also become one of the brand`s high-profile signature artists in recent years. Up `till now, his signature series included four models, all Soloists. For 2016, Jackson has prepared a pair of USA class signature models for Chris (one with six and one with seven strings). They feature a modified Soloist shape and wide color palette which they share.
USA Signature Chris Broderick Soloist HT6 is a six-string marvel, an ultimate metal guitar for players who like their electronics passive and their bridge in non-tremolo style. The body of this metal beast is made of mahogany base with quilt maple top (on selected finishes). Speed-contoured neck runs through the body and has a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top (1-11/16" nut, compound 12"-16" radius, jumbo frets).
A pair of passive DiMarzio humbuckers, custom designed by Chris himself, offers an unheard-of level of versatility and enviable clarity and crispness. Master volume knob with push/pull switch (coil-splitting function), master tone knob with push/pull switch as well (tone control activation), killswitch and three-way pickup selector give an inexhaustible array of options and variations. Bridge with six independent saddles and Planet Waves Auto Trim tuners keep this monster in perfect tune.
