SLATTXMG 3-6 Soloist is one of many Soloist models introduced into the X range for 2015. X series, or range, is there for all the players who seek high quality of construction, competitive tone and pro level playability, but are not able or willing to buy a custom shop guitar. Located just below the Pro series, X lines focus on the core, on playability, tone and quality construction. Bodies are, as a rule, made of basswood and paired with maple necks. Bolt-on and through-body options are available, and SLATTXMG features the neck-through combination. Matte variants have all-basswood bodies, while the transparent options have attractive quilt maple caps. SLATTXMG 3-6 Soloist comes with a lone tune-o-matic (TonePros) bridge in the bridge section. Strings are running through the body behind the bridge, while the EMG`s 81/85 combo sits in front of it. Master volume, master tone and a three-position switch make up a small and agile controls unit. Maple neck is fast, slim and feels supremely comfortable in hand. On its top, a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with piranha inlays and compound 12"-16" radius is installed. Six Jackson tuners (3+3 arrangement) on the modern headstock wrap up the features list.
