X series is one step above the basic JS line. Its task is to provide the best possible lower intermediate class options for the players who want to replace their beginner JS guitars. For 2015, Jackson`s focus is set on this particular range, as Jackson aims to attract not only the players who have outgrown their JS guitars, but also the players who are retiring their beginner axes of any other brand. RRXT is the only RR model introduced into the X series lineup, along with one King V and twelve Soloists. This lone Rhoads comes with a solid and beveled basswood body with maple neck in the middle (this RR retains the neck-through-body construction). Bridge section on the top is equipped with a fully adjustable tune-o-matic bridge and the anchor plate behind it (strings run through the plate and through the body beneath it). Duncan Designed HB-102 pickups are installed in front of the bridge (102B in the bridge and 102N in the neck position). Maple neck is fit with the classic Speed profile in the back, and the Rhoads standard 22-fret fingerboard on top. The fingerboard`s made of rosewood and features white binding around the edges, as well as shark fin inlays between the jumbo-sized frets. Jackson`s tuners are located on the downward-pointing headstock.

mine had an emg 81 in the bridge and an emg 89 with a coil split in the neck my frets had a lot of uneven wear for a brand new guitar
