SL7 is currently the basic seven-string Soloist of the Pro range. It is virtually the same as the SL2, with which it shares the base, save for the neck measurements and string & tuner count. SL7 adds the low B string to accommodate the lowest and meanest riffs and tunings.
Pro Series Soloist SL7 starts at $1,496.59 (same price as SL2L LH, left-handed six-string SL2). The core of this extended-range shredder is made up of alder body wings, through-body maple neck (one-piece construction, scarf joint, graphite reinforcement rods, pointed seven-in-line headstock) and 24-fret ebony fingerboard (compound 12"-16" radius, 25-1/2" scale, 1.875" locking nut, Piranha inlays).
Floyd Rose FRT-SSO2000 bridge, die-cast Jackson tuners and Seymour Duncan SH6-7 pickups complete the specs list.
