JS range in Jackson`s catalog serves in the intermediate range. It`s models are mainly made for the younger players and those experienced sea wolfs who need an affordable and well built practice/rehearsal guitar. JS32L Dinky DKA is one of four new models Jackson introduces for the summer of 2014. Letter L in it`s name designates it`s a left-handed guitar with the same exact specs as the JS32 Dinky DKA model. Basswood body of this intermediate class six-stringer is fairly thick, but due to the light weight of the basswood timber, it does not burden the player`s shoulders too much. Flat-top and double-cut body is shaped after the classic Soloist lines and is offered in only one color option: Bright Blue with gloss finish and black hardware. This affordable metal axe is fit with only the the bare necessities and features no lavish decoration details. All hardware on this one is made by Jackson, including the licensed Floyd Rose double-locking trem system. Original Schaller trems are saved for the upscale series and models. Jackson`s JE10 humbuckers are also there (all four of the 2014 novelties have them). These are solid, strong and very well built. Hard rock and the classic heavy metal are the most suiting styles for these pickups. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch comprise the simple controls unit. Fast maple neck is made of a single piece of wood, which adds to resilience and sturdiness. Super sleek Speed Neck contour is accompanied by a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top side of the neck. Jumbo-sized frets, compound 12"-16" radius and 1-5/8" wide locking nut complete the fingerboard. Jackson`s classic pointy headstock is fit with a set of six in-line tuning machines, also made by Jackson. There`s also the vintage 1980`s-styled logo beneath the tuners.
