XP300 is the basic model of the Xiphos series in Ibanez catalog. This series deals with the metal-oriented guitars with hyper modern design and solid construction. Mostly, these models are fit with passive pickups (usually DiMarzio and Ibanez) and have neck-through-body construction. XP300, as the basic model is situated in the lower intermediate class of the market. It comes with a solid solid mahogany body with beveled top and bolted maple neck with Wizard contour in the back. Iron Pewter color scheme is the only one in the XP300 palette. It is finished in gloss and fit with black hardware. On the top, Ibanez installs a locking Edge tremolo bridge and a pair of passive Ibanez humbuckers. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
