Body of this model is flat on top and features no binding around the top. Also, there is no pickguard on this one. Natural is the only color option on this model and it comes with a glossy finish. Bridge section is a standard one for this series, it features a tune-o-matic bridge with a stoptail bar in the back. Pasive humbuckers are installed in front of the bridge and they feature master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Maple neck runs through the body and it is topped with a regular 24-fret fingerboard.

I have owned one since 1979. My first real guitar. Her serial number is C797979, so I call her 79. One piece of information that is wrong in your review is the neck does not go through the body. The body has a maple core with walnut bands and mahogany wings. The maple neck connects to the maple core, but according to Ibanez, because I asked, it is a set neck.
