RGIX is a series of upscale electric guitars found within the metal-oriented Iron Label range. Thus far, the series lineup has consisted of six, seven and eight-string models and RGIX27FESM is its second seven-stringed axe. RGIX27FESM comes with a solid and double-cut body taken from the iconic RG range (the very range which started the Superstrat revolution back in the `80s, along with Jackson, ESP and Kramer models). It is made of basswood base and spalted maple top. Beyond the words gorgeous Foggy Stained Blue and Foggy Stained Black color schemes bring the best out of the spalted tops, making the RGIX27FESM the best looking guitar of the RGIX range (along with its six-string twin, of course). Maple and bubinga neck comes with the tested and tried Wizard Nitro contour in the back and a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony on top. Bound fingerboard features jumbo-sized frets, side-dot markers and 1.89" wide string nut. Radius measures at pretty wide and comfy 15.75". EMG`s 707 ballistic missile launchers guarantee inexhaustible sustain and super huge tone. Hardware section with a seven-saddled Gibraltar bridge and die-cast tuners will keep this beast in tune no matter what.
