RG Premium models rank just below the RG Prestige and represent the ultimate stage and studio workhorse instruments for metal oriented players. RG920 is a solid bodied, double cutaway guitar with a body made of American basswood. It features no top wood veneers, bindings or pickguards, as Ibanez opted for the stripped down, bare essentials looks. The bridge is Ibanez Edge Zero double locking tremolo with black paint. Pickup combo consists of two passive DiMarzio humbuckers, IBZ-B in the bridge and IBZ-N in the neck. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. The neck is made of five pieces of maple and walnut. It is connected to the body with a bolt-on joint. Bound rosewood fingerboard comes with 24 jumbo frets and offset dot position inlays.
