RG`s Premium division is a line of high quality guitars second only to the mighty Prestige section. It is not as large as other lines, but it offers stunning quality for the price range it belongs o. RG870Z is no exception and it comes with a solid, double cut body made of basswood. RG series philosophy is to deliver top performance packed in a sharp and stripped down package. Ibanez nailed it with RG870Z, for it is a mean rocking machine clad in black. Bridge section is a standard one, as it features an Edge double locking tremolo bridge. Passive Ibanez pickups are installed in H/S/H pattern, a common one for the RG series. Five-piece maple neck is equipped with wizard contour and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
