700 and 900 models make up the bulk of RG`s Premium series. The major difference between them is in the pickups selection, 700 models have Ibanez humbuckers while 900 feature DiMarzio IBZ option. Also, 700 models tend to use more conventional tonewoods. RG721FML kicks off with a solid and double-cut RG body with carved top and 25-1/2"-scaled bolt-on neck. Back of the body is made of American basswood and the top is flamed maple. Wizard-shaped neck is, on the other end, composed of five stripes of maple and walnut. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the chassis. Ibanez CAP-VM passive/alnico humbuckers come in with a classic RG controls unit and open-coil design. Strong, well balanced tone, usable in multitude of settings is their true forte. RG721FML also features a Tight End bridge and die-cast tuners.
