RG652LWFX is an RG Prestige guitar, introduced at 2017 NAMM along with the rest of electric and acoustic updates. This particular RG, like the rest of the Prestige models, is made in Japan and features only finest materials, hardware and electronics Ibanez has to offer. RG652LWFX comes in with a solid, double-cut basswood body with limba top (thus the letters LW in 652`s name). White binding strikes a nice contrast to the black back and Anvil Gray Burst top. Cosmo Black hardware and black plastics complete the subdued elegant styling of this versatile axe. 5-piece maple walnut neck and 24-fret marbled rosewood fingerboard complete the chassis. Other important features include a Gibraltar Standard II bridge (hardtail string-through), DiMarzio pickups (Tone Zone/Air Norton) and Gotoh tuners.
