RG450M is a part of the 450 tier in the RG series. These guitars are known as the workhorses of the series, being the most popular models featured in the RG range. They`re affordable, have amazing looks and super hot Ibanez pickups. For 2014, Ibanez refreshes the 450 models and 450M is one of them. The letter M stands for the maple fingerboard. Traditionally, RG models have 24-fret fingerboards and 450M fingerboard is marked with black dot inlays. 16.90" radius and 1.69" width of the locking nut, along with jumbo-sized frets, represent the key features of the RG450M`s fingerboard. Body, on the other side, rocks the classic flat-top RG design and bolt-on neck joint construction. It is made of basswood and is paired with a maple-made neck. On the top of the body, there is the standard Ibanez Edge locking tremolo bridge and a set of Infinity pickups in H/S/H configuration. These pickups are passive and give a fantastic range of tones and styles. Players who are handy with pedals and amps can get virtually everything from these pickups.

Overall i love this guitar. I like a nice heavy tone to my sound and it definitely delivers. I wouldve rated quality 5 stars but ive had mine since it came out and im aready having to replace "some" hardware. Other than that, 5 star guitar for me.
