JS24P-CA is one of two signature models introduced into Joe Satriani series . Ibanez and Joe have designed and made this model together in order to get the most out of it. It has 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top of the three-piece maple/bubinga neck. 24-fret fingerboards are still fairly new concept in this series, and was primarily introduced to appeal to younger fans. Neck is traditionally bolted to the body. Solid, double-cut and carved on top, body of JS24P is made of American basswood. There are no bindings, no pickguards or top wood caps. Candy Apple is the only color scheme available and it`s finished in high gloss. Edge locking tremolo bridge is featured on top of the body. It`s plated in chrome and fronted by a pair of DiMarzio pickups. Joe`s signature Mo` Joe passive humbucker is in the bridge position and The Chopper rail humbucker is in the neck position. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch complete the controls unit. Tone knob is equipped with push/pull switch for coil splitting.
