JEM70V-SFG is a part of the Steve Vai signature series from Ibanez. It is a new model represented for the NAMM 2012 show. The JEM70V-SFG starts off with American basswood body with double cutaway and flat top. It is available in sea foam green color with glossy finish. The bridge is Ibanez Edge locking tremolo with chrome plating. Pickups are laid out in classic JEM pattern, humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions and a single coil in the middle. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and five position blade switch. The neck on this model is made of maple and features JEM contour and a bolt-on joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 24 jumbo frets and vine inlays. White pickguard and famous handle-hole complete the spec for this model. The MSRP is set at $1,673.
