Eric Krasno of the Soulive fame is the most recent addition to the Ibanez signature artist tribe. He is known for his unique and innovative style and fantastic skill level. Together with Soulive, Eric has performed all over the world and has shared stages with some of the greatest musicians alive. His love of Ibanez hollow-bodied models has grown into a collaboration and has produced the highly sophisticated EKM100 model. This gorgeous six-stringer is fully hollow and features the set in neck construction. Double-cut body of this model is made of flamed maple back, sides and top. Top is carved and bound in white. Ibanez offers EKM100 only in Wine Red with gloss finish and gold hardware (gold represents the perfect contrast to the red body and black fingerboard). Top of the body is equipped with a pair of "f" holes, which give the vintage feel to this six-stringer. Classic hardware setup includes a two-piece hardtail bridge, two humbuckers with gold-plated covers and a standard controls unit (two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch). Set in mahogany neck is made of a single piece of wood and it`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. White binding, split abalone block inlays and 1.69" wide string nut are also featured on the fingerboard. Headstock is fit with a set of six (3+3) gold-plated tuners.
