As a member and creator of some of the heaviest bands on the metal scene, Dino Cazares enjoys a very special status among both his peers and metal fans. Also, Dino is one of the pioneers of the extended range guitars and one of it`s greatest champions. Finally, after many years, he gets the recognition he deserves through the magnificent DCM100. It is a brutal metal axe made for only one purpose - raising hell. Simple in style and construction, DCM100 delivers what is, possibly, the heaviest tone today with an astonishing ease. This limited edition axe is a solid-bodied double-cut with RGD beveled top contour and super fast neck. Entire body is made of mahogany, while the three-piece neck is made of two pieces of maple with one piece of bubinga sandwiched in between. Dino` s favorite Low profile Edge bridge is featured in the bridge section and features a locking nut 26-1/2 inches away on the opposite side of the neck. There`s only one pickup on DCM100, it is the thunder-wielding, earth-shattering extended range monster named Seymour Duncan Retribution. Just like with the Blackouts back in the `90, Dino helped design this beast, as well. There`s only one volume knob in the controls unit. Maple/bubinga/maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and offset dot inlays. By Dino`s request this seven-string destroyer comes with a reversed headstock, a nod to the old school masters. 1D, 2A, 3F, 4C, 5G, 6D, 7A is the factory tuning.
