The chancellor model has a hollow single cutaway body made of mapleback and sides and carved, arched spruce top. The top features double "f" holes and glossy finish on both natural and violin color options. The bridge on Hofner Chancelor is fixed and features a violin-styled tailpiece. The amplification of this guitar rests in hands of one floating humbucker placed in the neck position. The controls consist of a master volume and master tone knobs. Neck on this guitar is made of flamed maple and has a c shape and set-in joint. The ebony fingerboard has 22 frets without inlays. The MSRP for this model is set at $6,999.
