Custom Carved Hollow Body series in Heritage Guitars` catalog deals with expensive, boutique level jazz boxes. Currently there are ten active models, with various body sizes and electronics configurations. Four of the mentioned ten are signature models, made primarily for distinguished contemporary jazz guitarists. David Becker is one of the mentioned four models. It comes with a compact single-cut body (16" width, 20-1/4" length and 3" thickness) made of curly maple back & sides and spruce sound board. All tonewoods on Custom Carved models are solid. The neck is made of solid mahogany and it rocks a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Bridge-positioned L.R. Baggs piezo pickup and conventional Seymour Duncan humbucker in the neck position make up a very interesting pickups combo, with a huge range of styles and tones. Two-piece bridge and nickel-plated tuners complete the specs list.
