Hagstrom has a long tradition and huge reputation in the jazz guitar segment, dating back to 1969. Today, four hollow-body models represent Hagstrom on the jazz scene. They`re all equipped with the classic single-cut design, set necks, archtop construction and Hagstrom electronics.
Tremar HJ500 comes in with a body made of spruce back and sides and five-ply maple top. Bound top rocks a classic pickguard and compulsory "f" holes. The neck is made of north-eastern American maple and features a bound resinator fingerboard on its top. HJ-50 pickups are Hagstrom`s all-round humbuckers and they`ve found their way onto the Jazz series (Tremar HJ500 has them). Two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way pickup switch comprise the standard controls unit. Bigsby-styled Tremar bridge and die-cast Hagstrom tuners complete the specs list.
