Cult`s Billy Duffy has relatively recently joined the Gretsch Guitars signature family. Thus far, his signature series has had only one model, the Billy Duffy White Falcon released in 2013. The second one, G7593T-BD-BK Billy Duffy Black Falcon comes in time for 2016 NAMM. Basically, it is White Falcon`s black-clad twin guitar. G7593T-BD-BK Billy Duffy Black Falcon kicks off with a single-cut body made entirely of maple. Carved back, carved top and sides are all made of three-ply laminated maple. Three-piece laminated maple-walnut-maple neck with ebony fingerboard on top completes the chassis of this majestic Falcon. Fingerboard is equipped with a set of 22 medium jumbo frets, block inlays, 12" radius and 1.71" wide bone nut. Electronics section is equipped with a pair of custom-wound Black Top Filter`Tron pickups with a standard Gretsch controls unit. Together with the maple/walnut/ebony body and neck, these bad boys give the big, chiming, classic Gretsch tone. Bridge unit is a two-piece made up of ebony-based Adjust-o-Matic bridge in the front and Bigsby tailpiece in the back. Grover`s Imperial tuners complete the specs list.
