G6136-55 Vintage Select Edition `55 Falcon is a member of the newly established Vintage Select Edition series. It is a ten-model series dedicated to the most faithful ever recreation of the classic Gretsch models from the 50`s and 60`s. G6136-55 Vintage Select Edition `55 Falcon comes in with a single-cut Falcon body made of laminated maple (back, sides) and solid spruce (top). Top is bound in gold sparkle binding and rocks gold-plated hardware and electronics. Set-in neck is also made of maple. It features U profile in the back and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on top. TV Jones T-Armond single-coil pickups boast the traditional Gretsch tone we all know and love. Adjust-o-matic bridge with Cadillac tailpiece and Grover Imperial tuners complete the hardware section and make sure this majestic Falcon stays perfectly in tune.
