G6120S model is available in four color options, of which three are orange - Orange Lacquer, Vintage Orange Lacquer and Orange. The fourth one is Black. This Professional series is based on the previous Brian Setzer`s models and is brand new for 2015. Besides that, it shares the designation and body shape (Nashville) with one of the most popular Chet Atkins models (G6120). Body of this single-cut axe is fully hollow and made of laminated maple. Both the back and top are bound in multi-ply binding, and are arched. On the top, there are two bound "f" holes, and a plastic pickguard with Gretsch logo on it. Beneath the top, Brian and Gretsch have decided on the 1959 bracing (Brian`s favorite). Pinned Adjust-o-Matic bridge with Bigsby vibrato tailpiece is featured in the bridge section. A pair of T.V. Jones Brian Setzer pickups takes care of that classic "Setzer" tone and delivers bucket loads of sustain. Master volume, two separate volume knobs, a three-way tone switch and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Maple neck is set in and topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. It features medium-sized frets, Thumbnail inlays and a 1-11/16" wide Delrin nut. Schaller`s locking M6 tuners wrap the specs list.
