G6120-1959LTV Chet Atkins Hollow Body is about as classic Gretsch, as a guitar can be. Big, spacious and fully hollow body of this marvelous six-stringer is made of maple in it`s entirety. Laminated plain maple is used for back, sides and top panels. This, in combination with a maple neck lays a foundation for that famous rockabilly tone Gretsch models are known and unique for. Western Maple Stain is the only option in the color palette of this model. It is finished in gloss and matched with gold-plated hardware. Adjust-o-matic bridge is backed up by a Bigsby vibrato bar and trapezoid tailpiece. Filtertron humbuckers are installed in the front. Maple neck is set in and it`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. Golden Grover tuners are featured on the headstock.
