Eddie Cochran was one of the artists which had the biggest impact on the development of the 1950s rock and roll music. he appeared on the scene later in the decade and almost single-handedly made new rules, new style and gave new energy to the movement harshly criticized by the government and the church. His untimely death stopped his meteoric rise in 1960. Today, more than fifty years after his death, armies of young fans and musicians pay their respects and tributes to this unique rock and roll legend. He even has a series of signature and tribute guitars made by Gretsch. G6120 Eddie Cochran Signature Hollow Body comes with a single-cut body made of maple. It features the classic Orange color with gloss finish and gold plated hardware. Three-piece bridge has a Bigsby bar in the back and adjust-o-matic bridge in the front. DynaSonic single coil is in the bridge position, while the neck position is reserved for a Dog Ear P-90 pickup. Set in neck is made of maple and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
