The original CVT model was introduced back in 1961 and was Gretsch`s first true solid-body guitar. More than 50 years later, CVT is still around, having models in Professional, Electromatic, as well as Signature ranges. G6135CVT Electromatic is the most affordable CCVT model currently in production, with MSRP set at $899. It offers a beveled body, set-in neck (full fingerboard available), set-in neck (super-fast profile, vintage headstock), vintage hardware, a fat tone, and classic CVT styling. There`s only one color option - Cherry Stain (w/chrome hardware, black plastics). Core construction features include a solid mahogany body, set-in mahogany neck, and sonokelin fingerboard (21 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 24.6" scale). Other notable features include a Bigsby bridge, Mega`Tron humbuckers, and vintage tuners.
