I don't really know what other features one would really need in a guitar. The pickup choices allow one to get a wide variety of sounds. The re-voicer adds even more choices in sound, I tend to leave it on the active setting. I never give anything a perfect ten when doing reviews - this guitar has everything that I will ever need. This quality of this guitar easily matches that of other more famous American made axes. It was initially set up very well, but I did my own set-up as I play 11's and it came with 9's. This is the fourth Godin that I own, and I have played it several times at live gigs without a backup - as with any of the guitars that I play, I just keep a set of strings handy at all times when I gig. The fit and finish of this guitar is exceptional, I have had several comments on how good it looks, especially when in the spotlight (reds make it really stand out). This guitar will never let me down. The neck is the best that I have ever played, the versatility is great, and it costs significantly less than most of my guitars that currently sit in their cases because I like playing this one so much. If stolen I would track down the thief and eviscerate the lowlife, if lost in any other manner, I would definitely purchase another. I am not sure what the previous reviewer meant - My impressions of this guitar are completely different. I have been playing since the mid eighties, and currently play in a cover band which plays a wide variety of material. With this guitar I can get so many tones that I cannot get with any other guitar that I have tried. As mentioned, the neck on this guitar is the best that I have ever played. Even my luthier, who is a bit of a perfectionist has commented on how good the Godins are in terms of quality. My practice mule is a Freeway classic, and after 5-6 years of abuse is still going strong. This guitar will easily out last me. I love everything about it.
