Montreal Premiere series is made for rock, blues and jazz players who want a thinline semi-hollow guitar with simple features, powerful tone and traditional design.
Like all of the current Montreal guitars, Premiere P90 comes with a Canadian cherry body and mahogany neck. The thinline body features back, sides and top made of cherry, with a specially carved spruce center. This, in combination with the mahogany neck, gives a big, bright tone with lots of power. The neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (12" radius, 1-11/16" wide string nut and dot inlays).
Simple and straightforward are the key words in the electronics section - two Godin P-90 single-coils are accompanied by a master volume, master tone and a 3-way pickup switch. Both Bigsby and trapezoid bridge variants are available.
