Detour is a little bit unusual double-cut guitar in Godin`s Performance series. It comes with a short 24-3/4" scale, as opposed to the majority of Soloist-shaped electric six-stringers, which feature longer 25-1/2" scales. Body of this double-cut six-stringer is solid, carved on top and made of a combination of poplar and silver leaf maple. Poplar wings are attached to the maple center. This flat-top axe comes with a set of two Godin humbuckers with open-coil design and a basic controls unit. Master volume, master tone and three-position blade switch comprise it. Neck on this model is made of rock maple and it features the fast and smooth contour in the back. Fingerboard on it`s top is made of rosewood and it has 22 frets.
