SG Classic Faded by Gibson
Worn Cherry

Classic SG Faded is loaded with classic and vintage SG appointments. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made completely of mahogany. The all-mahogany construction of SG guitars in combination with powerful Gibson pickups yields one of the most recognizable and most sought after tones in rock and metal music. The label Faded stands for the slightly worn color schemes applied on the body. Worn Cherry is the only one for this model. Pair of P-90 single coil pickups drive the tone of this model, just like on some of the most popular 1960s SGs. Body is solid, double-cut and made completely of mahogany. It has beveled edges, contoured back and characteristic double cutaway. Set in mahogany neck on this model is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

The passive ceramic pickups match active pickups from other brands. You don't need to put anything else on it to make it sound good. Just play it right out of the box. I play this bad boy at my local shop, and it is a treat to play. I usually play with my bridge set lower than the factory sets it, but it still has great playability. It's actually pretty light and very comfortable to reach to any part of its two octaves. Just swing the strap around your person and let solid iron pour out of the amp. It has Gibson's Coveted Nicocellulose finish, so that adds to the value. If It were fried or stolen I'd replace it duly. This guitar isn't my cup of tea in design, but still looks amazing and can fulfill almost any musical need you desire, but I recommend you test it's true mettle (excuse the pun) playing live.
