Joe Bonamassa is one of the leading contemporary blues players and is also the premier young player. He has already built his style and signature tone and is a completely formed musician. Through Gibson and Epiphone, Joe already has an extensive line of signature models, which range from budget-friendly variants with Epiphone badge to super expensive and luxurious instruments made by Gibson Custom. This time Gibson`s USA division has prepared and launched the Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard model. It comes with a classic single-cut body made of mahogany back and carved maple top. This combination has been with LPs since their inception in 1950s. Modern spin on the story includes modern shape of the carved top and modern weight relief system in the mahogany base. Bridge section on this model is made up of tune-o-matic bridge in the front and the stoptail bar in the back. Active humbucking pickups on Joe Bonamassa Standard are made by Seymour Duncan and feature standard LP controls unit. Set mahogany neck is equipped with an asymmetrical '60s contour in the back and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Grover tuners, corian string nut and 24-3/4" scale complete the specs list.
