Best known as the lead guitarist of the cult rock band Bon Jovi, Dj Ashba is one of the most recent additions to the Gibson signature artist family. With a unique blend of soft and hard rock, Bon Jovi has reached superstardom back in the 1980s. Since then, the band has explored various styles and approaches to modern rock music, but has always gravitated back to the 1980s roots. In order to cover such a vast field, Mr. Ashba needed a very versatile guitar and his Dj Ashba Signature Les Paul delivers on all fronts, be it the heart melting ballads, anthemic choruses, or killing leads. Simple and modern single-cut body is made of mahogany base and maple cover on the top. Unique Ashba Grey color pattern is finished in gloss and accompanied by black-clad hardware. Seymour Duncan`s SH-4 and APH-1 are installed in the bridge and neck positions, respectively. Master volume knob, two tone knobs, one mini-switch and the traditional three-way toggle pickup selector comprise the controls unit. Behind them, Gibson installs the classic tune-o-matic/stoptail bar bridge unit. Set in maple neck has a modern back contour, as well as the simple 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Grover tuners wrap the list of core specs. The MSRP is set at $2,799.
