Dethklok is probably the only band, which is in the same time two bands. They started out as a virtual band, created for the purposes of the Metalocalypse show. Soon enough, Dethklok crossed the celluloid border into the real world and it plays the music from the show in concerts. Dethklok Thunderhorse Explorer is the signature Dethklok guitar made by Gibson USA. This model comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany. Rules of traditional explorer construction say that there is no top wood cover, nor binding around the top. This one comes with Silverburst as it`s only color scheme. Burstbucker 1 is installed in the neck and Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
