Jerry Donahue, one of the biggest legends of blues and rock music, is among the selected few players who can call themselves Fret-King signature artists. Currently, his signature line consists of two models, both based on the Country Squire concept. Black Label JDD Jerry Donahue is a solid-bodied Country Squire guitar with solid construction and classic Fret-King styling. Single-cut American alder body (two-piece) and Canadian hard rock maple neck form the chassis of this super-versatile rocker. 22-fret maple fingerboard tops the neck (medium jumbo frets, black dot inlays, 1.67" wide graphite nut). Pair of Seymour Duncan pickups (bridge pickup was custom designed by Seymour Duncan himself) offers everything from the country twang to wailing blues solos, `60s woman tone and full-on rnr. Hardtail Tele bridge and Wilkinson tuners complete the specs list.
