Fret King now has four lines of instruments. Previously known include Blue Label, Green Label and Stvdio. At NAMM 2012 exhibition, Fret King introduced a brand new Black Label Series of affordable electric guitars and basses. These bare bones rockers come with high end quality and low end price tags. Corona is Strat-like model made for hard rocking guitarists, pros and amateurs alike. It has a solid, double cutaway alder body with no binding or top woods. This flat-top Corona only features a plastic pickguard on it`s top. Original classic burst, Firenza red and black color options all come with glossy finish. The bridge on Corona SP is a Wilkinson tremolo with string-through construction. The pickup department looks similar to a classic Strat setup, but instead of a regular slanted single coil in the bridge, there is a Wilkinson P-90. These pickups are controlled through master volume, master tone and Fret King`s own Vari-Coil coil tapping knob. The neck is made of Canadian hard rock maple and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo sized frets, dot position inlays, graphite string nut and 10" radius. Scale measures 25-1/2" in length and tuners are supplied by Wilkinson. The MSRP for Corona SP is set at around $950.
