Road Worn Series from the standard side of the Fender catalog deals with aged and worn vintage-styled guitars. Road Worn Player Stratocaster comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder. Alder is Fender`s favorite and standard body tone wood, similar to Gibson`s mahogany. It is a standard in Fender`s catalog since the 1950s. On top of the body of this model Fender installs a regular vintage-styled tremolo bridge with high mass block and string-through construction. In it`s front Fender installs three Texas Special single coil pickups. Master volume, two tone knobs and five-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Maple neck on this model is equipped with a standard C contour and bolt-on joint. Maple-made fingerboard on this model features 21 frets with black dot inlays.
