It is easy to see why Mustang is the perfect fit for the newly formed Offset series. Along with two Duo-Sonic models, two Mustang six-stringers and one Mustang four-stringer form the initial lineup of this super cool series. Classic Fender looks crossed with modern construction & electronics, and vibrant solid colors, guarantee loads of fun and versatility. Short scales, 22-fret fingerboards and new pickups characterize the six-string section of the series.
Mustang 90 is a beefed up version of the basic Mustang, featuring feisty P-90 soapbars in both the bridge and neck position. This simple change makes Mustang perfect for young rockers and punks, eager to find their own style and tonal identity. Master volume, master tone and a three-way pickup switch form a pretty basic controls unit, leaving it to the player and his/her playing style to play the main role in the final output. Offset, flat alder body, bolt-on maple neck (C profile) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (medium jumbo frets, black dot inlays, 9.5" radius, 1.65" synthetic bone nut) form the chassis of this little rebel. Other major appointments include a simple string-through hardtail bridge, die-cast Fender tuners, black plastic parts and a large headstock.
