Fender models, especially Stratocasters, made in Japan before 1990 are now considered collector items and are among the most valuable Fender instruments ever made. Today, only a handful of models is still made in Japan, with the lineup having only six models (four Strats, one Tele, one Jazzmaster). Made in Japan Hybrid `60s Stratocaster is one of four available Strat options, coming in with a solid and flat body, bolt-on neck joint, 25.5" scale, US-made pickups, and vintage/modern styling. Fender sells this Hybrid `60s Stratocaster only in Burgundy Mist Metallic. Main construction features include a flat-top alder body, U-shaped neck made of maple, a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.675" bone nut, 250mm radius, dot inlays), vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, and vintage-style tuning machines.
