The American Special series is there for all the players who want to replace their Mexican-made models with an axe made in the state but don`t have enough money for a Standard or Elite model. American Special Stratocaster is the latest incarnation of this popular model. It comes with a solid and double-cut alder body, w/belly cut and a classic Strat pickguard. The neck`s made of maple and it sports the modern C profile, along with the classic Telecaster headstock. The fingerboard on its top has 22 jumbo-sized frets, dot inlays (material depends on the color option), and 1.685" wide string nut. Pickups in all three positions are Texas Special Single-Coil Strat. Vintage style synchronized tremolo bridge and die-cast Fender tuners complete this affordable Strat.
