Time Machine series is a major part of the Fender Custom Shop, accounting for around 20-30 percent of the total number of electric guitars. This series` most remarkable feature is that it`s models are made with same machines and same tools Fender used to build guitars in 1950s and 1960s. Models from this series are replicas of the old and famous Strat and Tele models and they can come in four possible variants: NOS (New Old Stock), Closet Classic, Relic and Heavy Relic. '62 Stratocaster Heavy Relic model is solid, double-cut and made of alder body with maple neck. Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, aged plastic pickguard, worn paint and aged plastic knobs are found on the top. Maple neck is bolted to the body and it features the 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
