ESP`s TE series emulates the classic Telecaster styling and design and blends it with ESP-characteristic hardware and electronics options, resulting in the hottest and heaviest Tele-shaped guitars ever made in serial production. Vast majority of TE models are affordable LTD models (mostly 200 and 400 tiers). New for 2016 TE-200 Maple is also a very affordable TE model. It comes with some of the most iconic visual features of the classic Telecaster, combined with 200 tier electronics (ESP Designed electronics), metal-oriented Black on Black color scheme and ESP`s super modern U neck with a 24-fret fingerboard. TE-200 Maple rocks a slab body with a deep cutaway and classic bolt-on neck joint. It is made of mahogany, opposed to the vast majority of 200 models which have their bodies made of ash or basswood. Maple neck rocks the super fast U profile in the back and a 24-fret maple fingerboard on top. Pickups featured in the bridge and neck positions are the stock ESP Designed LH-150 humbuckers. These are passive pickups with high output and pretty decent tone for rehearsal and practice tasks. String-through hardtail bridge and die-cast tuners (both are LTD-branded) complete this workhorse six-stringer.

For the price. You can't beat it or go wrong. Solid playing guitar. Pickups maybe a lil to bright/harsh. But i bought knowing i was going to change them out anyways. It's a guitar you should have in your stock for any occasion.
