Located far above its 200 level brethren, SN-1000FR offers so much more. But, it is still an LTD guitar, which means that its price tag is still within the reach of a vast majority of players out there. 1000 tier of the LTD catalog offers professional level of quality, as well as mighty fine looks. SN-1000FR is a new model for 2016 (it was introduced this January at the NAMM), it comes with active electronics, double-locking bridge system, bolt-on neck construction and full 25-1/2" scale. Gun Metal Blue and Black options are available. SN-1000FR sports a solid and flat body made of alder, as well as a U-shaped maple neck. The two are connected via a standard bolt-on joint. The neck is fast and smooth and features a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. 1.65" locking nut, 13.77" radius and dot inlays are also featured on the fingerboard. Fishman`s Fluence humbuckers (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck) comprise the two-pickup combo. They`re active and are cover a huge field, ranging from acoustic ballads and classic rock on one side to raging hard rock with screaming solos on the other. Master volume, master tone, two-position mini-switch and a five-position blade pickup switch make up the controls. Floyd Rose bridge and Grover tuners complete the specs list.
