Brian "Head" Welch and Korn widely regarded as pioneers of Nu Metal and modern metal scene, in general. Their unique tone and presence have played a huge part in shaping of the face of contemporary heavy music. SH-7 is Brian`s only signature ESP model at the moment and it is sold under the LTD badge. It is a thoroughbred Superstrat, with carved top, powerful pickups and neck-through construction. Basswood body wings and three-piece maple neck form the chassis. The body is topped with a 2-piece flame maple cap painted in See Thru Purple, while the neck sports a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with white binding and 24 extra jumbo-sized frets. Other notable features include a seven-saddled EverTune bridge, active Fishman Fluence Modern pickups and locking LTD tuners.
