Rammstein is one of the most important metal act coming from Europe, and probably the most prominent band with lyrics in a language other than English. Richard, as their lead guitarist is with the band since it`s inception and is a long time ESP fan. For 2012 ESP prepared RZK-II Burnt guitar as Richard`s Signature model. RZK-II hits the stage as a solid, single cutaway guitar made of alder body and mahogany neck. The special feature of this model is it`s burnt color scheme which leaves the impression as if the edges of the body and headstock have been severely damaged by fire. In the bridge section, there is an original Floyd Rose double locking tremolo bridge with chrome plating and locking string nut. Two EMG81s propel this monster and give enough juice for any musical stunt a player can come up with. These bad boys are harnessed with only master volume knob and a three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of mahogany with U contour. This neck also features a neck-through-body construction which adds enormous amounts of sustain to already fierce EMG pickups. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets with oversized dot inlays. 25-1/2" scale, 1.65" wide string nut, chrome plated hardware and Gotoh tuning machines complete the specs.
