LTD MH-417B FM is one of six models introduced into the baritone and seven/eight string range in the new 2015 ESP catalog. It is one of three seven-stringers and one of two MH series models in the lineup. Following the MH series standards and traditions, MH-417B FM comes with a solid and double-cut body with a beautifully carved top and neck-through-body construction (upscale LTD models generally come with this type of neck joint). Wings of the black-clad body of this seven-stringed leviathan are made of mahogany, while the high-grade flamed maple is used for the white-bound top. Solitary tune-o-matic bridge is featured on the top and, in its front ESP installs a pair of brutal EMGs (81-7 in the bridge and 707 in the neck position). One volume knob, one tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch are found in the controls unit. As all 2015 baritone models, this one comes with a thin and fast maple neck with U profile in the back. On its top, there is the standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (ebony is reserved for the very top of the LTD catalog and ESP models) with thumbnail inlays and 1.89" wide molded nut.
