What we have here is the only eight-stringed electric guitar introduced by ESP for 2015. It belongs to the H series and comes with a standard set of features and appointments for the newly established baritone range. In design, it is very similar to the baritone MH series models, while on the construction side it features a set-through neck joint instead of the neck-through-body joint (featured on the MH models). Solid and double-cut body of this monster is made of mahogany back and a carved maple top. Two pieces of high-grade flamed maple are encircled with the standard white binding (matching binding is also found around the fingerboard as well as the headstock). Bridge installed on the top is an LTD hardtail with eight adjustable saddles and string-through-body construction. As part of the baritone range, H-408B FM comes with a set of EMGs active pickups. Both the bridge and neck positions are fit with mighty 808 humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch make up the controls unit. Series standard maple neck is fit with a thin U profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. 27" scale, LTD tuning machines and 2.12" wide molded nut are also featured on this outstanding eight-stringer.
