LTD EC-407B FM is one of six baritone-scaled electric guitars ESP unveiled at this year`s NAMM. Among them, it is the only EC model and one of three seven-stringers. EC-407B FM comes with a classic single-cut ESP Eclipse (EC in LTD catalog) body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top (top is made of two book-matched pieces of maple). See Thru Black Sunburst is currently the only color option available for this glorious seven-stringer. Around the top, fingerboard and vintage-styled headstock, EC-407B FM features white binding as a beautiful contrast to the black hardware and black paint job. Pearloid flag inlays complete the impressive visuals of this long-scaled Eclipse (the scale measures 27" in length, well within the baritone territory). Two-piece bridge unit on the top is clad in black and fit with seven adjustable saddles. EMG`s 81-7 in the bridge and 707 in the neck positions provide all the growl and snarl needed to take on the heaviest and most brutal axes in this segment. Set-in maple neck rocks the standard thin U profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with classic flag inlays on the top. LTD tuners are employed on this model (Grover, Gotoh and LTD tuners can be found on 2015 baritones, depending on the series they belong to).
