ESp`s AX series is made for only the toughest and bravest metal heads around. These infernal six-stringers were spawned from the fiery pits of hell to wage an all out war and conquer the metal stages around the world. AX-400FM leads the AX attack with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany and flamed maple, set thru neck and active electronics. Mahogany and maple is a tested and proven combo which grants unspoken ferocity and thickness of the tone and when combined with a pair of beastly EMG 81 humbuckers, results are devastating for any and all competition. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch comprise the simple controls unit. Set thru mahogany neck is devilishly fast and slim and is topped with a bound 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.

this guitar came out of the box and melted i my hands as soon as i touched it. highly recommended Ive been playing metal for 6 years now and this thing is wicked. replaced the neck p/u with a 60 gives a much softer clean tone perfectly straight, and im sure your dying to know... how bad do your fingerprints stand out on the finish lol, you done even notice them!!!! i would have payed more for the same thing and still have been happy try it yourself
