When it comes to wild and unorthodox design, very few brands can match ESP. Among the wildest, even by ESP standards, is FRX or F series. The name depends on the segment it`s found in (D in the LTD and FRX in ESP segment). For 2016, LTD F line is receiving two models, one baritone and one standard-scaled model. F-200B is an entry-level baritone guitar (F-shaped sibling of the Viper-200B) made for all the players who want to dip their toes in the baritone lake. F-200B features stock electronics, bolt-on construction and 27" scale. F-200B has a solid and double-cut body with a carved top, ultra deep cutaway and pretty sharp edges (to ward the inexperienced players off). It is made of basswood and is paired with a three-piece maple neck. U-shaped neck is then topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (1.65" molded nut, arrowhead inlays, 13/77" radius). ESP-Designed LH-150 passive humbuckers fill the bridge and neck positions. These are low-cost alternatives to Seymour Duncan pickups found on more expensive models. Their controls unit is made up of a master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. Fixed bridge and die-cast LTD tuners complete the specs.
