LTD`s EC series, also known as Eclipse in ESP catalog is, quite probably, the most successful LP guitar behind the original Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul itself. Its domain stretches throughout the entire ESP/LTD range, featuring everything from basic beginner guitars to custom shop-level professional instruments. EC-200 is a new model for 2016 and it`s located one step above the LTD beginner range (though it may, very comfortably, be used as a first guitar). It features a beveled single-cut body, set neck, passive electronics, 24-3/4" scale and elegant styling. See Thru Black Cherry Satin is the name of the only available color option. EC-200 comes with a solid body made of lightweight mahogany and a three-piece neck made of maple. The neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with XJ frets, dot inlays and a 1.65" molded string nut. Electronics section is made up of stock ESP/LTD components. Bridge and neck pickup positions are filled with ESP Designed LH-150 humbuckers with a standard EC controls unit (two volume knobs, one tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch). Tune-o-matic bridge with a stoptail bar and LTD tuners complete the specs list.
